Strategy

Combining marketing goals with agency-level content development.

A good producer never stops learning. Having the courage to try new creative approaches and respond to evolving consumer tastes is a must. Studios need to be built around the content they create. Maintaining vigilant insight into business needs allows studios to deliver success.

Professional production management is all about the details. Specificity in scheduling, crewing, and budgeting make a difference on screen. This starts with investing in technology. Project tracking software keeps teams aligned and maintains accountability. Quality production equipment delivers a wow factor on screen. Server based editorial platforms result in faster edits and feedback. Color correction compensates for tight budgets. Research and strategy pays off over time.

Great producing means forging relationships with all kinds of people – technicians, creatives, vendors, municipalities, and corporate leaders. Once the team is in place, constant information flow is essential, including daily recaps, proper content sharing, and confirming crucial details.

Film & Video Production

I began my career in independent film - working long hours with passionate people who wanted to tell a story. This included working as an Assistant Director, Production Coordinator and Production Manager. A dedication to the craft of filmmaking was instilled in me. A deep sense of organization was also learned - knowing that without a plan, there could be no execution.

Today, I have experience with corporate video production in addition to broadcast work. I see each project from a client’s point of view - making sure their goals are the production’s goals. Good producers walk the line between practicing the art of content creation while aligning marketing needs. For me, this has been honed through hundreds of projects, large and small.

Network Development & Content Management

In addition to content creation, I have managed place-based, digital signage networks with thousands of endpoints across the country. This includes content prep / encoding, programming, uploading and live streaming. Audience strategy is key to any network’s success - how to maximize viewership - making sure content is seen and heard.
